Demitra graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Wilfrid Laurier University. Over the course of her schooling, she has worked with clients in palliative care, acute care, and a variety of neurological and orthopedic settings. She also has an affinity for research and has been published in the Disability and Health Journal. 

Demitra lives an active lifestyle and is passionate about the benefits of exercise in rehabilitation. She aims to work collaboratively with clients to deliver individualized care that meets their goals and needs. She intends to enhance her training in neurological physiotherapy by continuing to complete courses in the Bobath concept. She also has an interest in pelvic health after completing the course in pelvic floor disorders in neurological patients and intends to continue growing her expertise in this area. In her spare time, Demitra enjoys weight training, playing soccer, reading and spending time with friends.
