Silvia completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2010 after receiving a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University. Silvia went on to become certified in medical acupuncture from the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program and is fully credentialed by the McKenzie Institute International. Silvia is passionate about continued education and has also completed post-graduate courses in manual therapy, soft tissue release and neurodynamic training using Butler and Bobath techniques. At Balance Physiotherapy, Silvia remains busy by seeing individuals with a variety of both orthopaedic and neurological conditions to maintain a well-rounded knowledge set. Silvia is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and holds an Independent Practice Certificate with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
